I Value Your Right To Privacy
And it's not just because I am legally obligated to value your right to privacy. I strive to maintain an honest and reliable relationship with everyone I interact with. I wouldn't knowingly engage with anyone I didn't trust, and I don't expect you to either.

I want to be 100% transparent about what data is collected through this site, how it is used and how it is stored. As this site grows and changes, there will most likely be modifications made to this privacy policy. For this reason, it's a good idea to review it frequently.
What Data Is Collected Through This Site & Why
There are two (2) types of data regarding our users collected through this site: Identifiable data & Unidentifiable data. Identifiable data is data which would reveal the identity of the user. Unidentifiable data is data which would not reveal the identify of the user.

You should be well aware of times when your identifiable data is being collected. For example, you might enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Phone Number to sign up for my newsletter. That is data which can be used to personally identify you (and you are aware that you are offering it over). However, you may not know that in the event that your unidentifiable data becomes attached to your identifiable data in any way, that data is then treated as identifiable data.

So what is this mysterious, unidentifiable data anyway? And, why do I want it? It's mainly technical and aggregated usage information that allows me to gauge the success of this site. Certain bits of data is useful to have even if you don't know who that data is connected to. For example, I like to know things like how many users clicked on a certain link or web page. How long each user stayed on the site. How many users are viewing from a mobile device vs a desktop. Even if this data can't identify you, it's still your data and you should know that by using this site, you are consenting to it being collected.
How Collected Data Is Used
This will be a bit of a reiteration of the section above What Data Is Collected Through This Site & Why, but you should be well aware of times when your Identifiable Data is being collected.

At various stages of interaction with me (Amy S. Carter) Attention Grabbers and www.AttentionGrabbers.me, you may be asked for your Identifiable Data in the form of contact information. This information is used to keep you notified of new blog posts and other site features, to offer additional knowledge about social media, and at times I may use that information to tell you about products and services I adore and want to share.

Your unidentifiable data is used to track the success of this site. For example: Through the use of cookies, I will be able to see which pages on this website are more popular, which are least popular, and use that data to make improvements to the site in the interest of improving your experience when you visit.

This site has a Facebook Pixel installed. This allows me to communicate with previous site visitors through the use of the Facebook ads platform. To be clear, this is considered unidentifiable information because the connection is made through the use of a cookie, not your personal data. This site has a Google Analytics Pixel installed. This is the platform I use to analyze site visits, bounce rates, etc. I told you above that I could do this through the use of cookies. Well, Google Analytics is the platform I use to collect and process this (unidentifiable) data. How Collected Data Is Stored
Although I am required to state this clearly, it should be obvious that some of your data is stored within the Facebook Ad Pixel, and within the Google Analytics Pixel. There are also 3rd party apps install on this site. For instance, in the break room you are given the option of playing Hangman, Word Searches, Watch Top Trending News Stories, etc. Each of these apps will have access to your Unidentifiable Data. Copies of all data collected will be stored on a private and secure hard drive owned by me (Amy S. Carter), Attention Grabbers, and www.AttentionGrabbers.us. At this time, there are no employees or independent contractors here. It's just me. If that changes at some point in the future, each person brought on-board will be required to sign a contract designed to protect any information they come into contact with.
How to Withdraw Your Consent
By using this site you are agreeing to the use of cookies. Cookies are stored on your computer and are easily removed by you. How they are removed is dependent upon the browser you are using.
